B_ig MBM Pool is a new project of this prestigious company that makes pool tables and will be officially presented at the Salone del Mobile 2011, an important event dedicated to design and furniture, to be held in April in Milan. B_IG is a billiards game Italian-style narrow holes, designed by Massimo Iosa Ghini and built in the historic factory MBM of Palisade, in the province of Frosinone, the place par excellence where pool tables are manufactured and exported all over the world.
What strikes at first sight, watching the beautiful pool B_ig MBM Pool is definitely the design of the outer shell, a charming and contemporary in its sinuous lines and soft curves.The surfaces are very organic, molding it as if they were cash and immediately become part of the project, which enchants the viewer.
If the lines immediately capturing the attention of the project, a careful observer, you’ll miss some details, however.
The obsessive attention to detail of this pool, we’ll see at the Salone del Mobile, the project makes an elegant and valuable.
The handrails, for example, is entirely covered with a soft cloth traditional, but red, like the whole playing field.
The masks are shaped and made of metal, with a particular shell shape, while the outer shell is made of wood.
